Welcome to Monday Mosaic the weekly newsletter from Reflective Wisdom, which offers you a collection of tips and resources so you can stay fulfilled in your influence as an educator.

Improving Your Frequency

As a purposeful educator, you recognize the impact of the contributions you offer to each of your students and how vital it is to replenish your social/emotional reserves so that you can show up at your natural best each and every day. One of the best ways to do this is a practice called Pause.

Pause let’s you step away from the machinery of doing school. You can give yourself permission to ask, “How am I?” This invitation allows you to check states – your physical state, your mental state, and your emotional state.

To get ready, find a comfortable spot where you can be free from distraction and free from disruption. Once you’re settled, listen to the featured song. Take a moment to ask yourself – What do I hope to achieve?

Enjoy!
