Guided Reflection: Opportunity Session

Whether it’s a personal or work related situation, the Opportunity Session allows you to consider a new focus for the upcoming month.
What will you risk to discover the opportunities knocking at your door?
This little game, Punctum (from the word “point”), helps you to discover a moment of awakening, a moment of clearer understanding.
How does it happen?
First, you pause and hold a situation in your mind. Then you pick a photo and ask yourself, “How does this picture connect to my situation?” The photo is there to bring forward the emotional connections.
Next, you pick a word card and ask yourself, “Now, how does this word and picture together connect to my situation?” By bringing together the emotion and the logic connected to your situation, you end up discovering new perceptions you hadn’t considered before. You expand your points of view.
Then you’re ready for the final step. With this combination, you are now ready to pick a question card. Now that you have melded the emotional side and the logical side, you can better fully express an answer to the question allowing you to take better action.
